How do I generate my first track?

How does AI music generation work?

Finetuning.ai uses advanced AI models running on dedicated GPU servers to create original music from your text descriptions. Each generation produces a unique track based on your prompt, selected mood, genre, and other parameters.

How long does generation take?

Most tracks are generated in 6-12 seconds. You'll receive a notification when your track is ready, so you can continue browsing while it generates.

What type of music can I make?

You can create both vocal tracks with lyrics and purely instrumental music. Describe what you want in your prompt — whether it's a lo-fi beat, a pop song with vocals, an orchestral score, or anything in between.

Can I use my tracks commercially?

It depends on your plan. On the Free tier, Riku AI LLC retains the rights to generated content and it may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. On paid plans (Plus and Pro), we waive all rights — you own your generated tracks outright and can use them commercially however you like.

Can I edit my generated tracks?

Track editing is something we aim to offer soon, but it's not available yet. For now, you can generate variations by tweaking your prompt or adjusting parameters like mood and tempo.

Is there an API for developers?

Go to your Profile > Billing and click "Cancel subscription." You'll keep access to your plan features until the end of your current billing period.

We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge at hello@finetuning.ai. Credit pack purchases are non-refundable.

What are credit packs?

Credit packs are one-time purchases that give you extra generations beyond your monthly allocation. They never expire and are used only after your monthly credits run out. Available on Plus and Pro plans.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile > Settings and click "Delete Account." Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. If you change your mind, contact us within that period to restore your account.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and store data on Cloudflare's global network. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe — we never see your card details.

Are my tracks private?

All generated content is private by default. You can choose to share individual tracks or playlists by making them public. You control your content's visibility at all times.
